Prospect Lefferts Gardens is known as Brooklyn’s “best-kept secret” with rich arts and culture at every corner! We’ve rounded up some of our favorite things to do during these summer months around the community!
On the 7th, 17th, and 27th of each month at 7:00pm, *7 7* creates a space where we can exchange information and ideas through community and collaboration. 7 curators present 7 people to share a performance for 7 minutes and the outcome is always inspiring and thought provoking!

Lefferts Historic House is an 18th-century Flatbush farmhouse and New York City landmark, jointly operated by Prospect Park Alliance and the Historic House Trust. The museum features a working garden, historic artifacts, and indoor and outdoor exhibits. Through hands-on experiences, cultural performances and imaginative play, visitors explore stories of resistance and resilience by the Indigenous people of Lenapehoking and Africans enslaved by the Lefferts and their relevance to diverse communities today.
