PLG Arts is pleased to announce our second annual outdoor Arts Fest!
- When: Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 12-5 pm, rain or shine
- What: Artists will exhibit and sell their work on sidewalks outside businesses, or indoors if it rains. Stores, restaurants, and other businesses will host artists’ displays while they are open for business, encouraging ArtsFest visitors to bring their families to dine, shop, and dance to the music.
- Where: Participating businesses will be located on Nostrand and Rogers Avenues from Sterling to Hawthorne Streets. Homes on streets between Sterling and Hawthorne will also host artists on sidewalks and front yards.
- Who: Over 40 artists will exhibit and sell their work at 18 businesses and 17 sidewalk displays throughout the neighborhood.
Live Music
1-3 pm: Rafael Rosa Trio—SOC CBD, Rogers & Lefferts; jazz & rock
2-4 pm: UDEiGWE—Market Bar & Brewery, Nostrand & Hawthorne; AfroPop
3-5 pm: Str8Outta Brooklyn—Bleu Nuk Bk, Nostrand and Rutland; DJ, art making, hiphop
12-5 pm: Create artwork with your family at Sugarcane & Cotton Gallery, Rogers & Fenimore
