The Michael-David Gordon Quartet returns to the Inkwell after their recent SRO performance in July. Michael-David is a dynamic entertainer who explores standards, pop, and R&B, drawing on his experience singing with the Temptations and NYC bands like the Pocket Band and the Meetles, as well as acting with Irondale Ensemble Project. With a love of music that immediately connects with audiences, he is equally at home with material from CeeLo Green to Duke Ellington to Bruno Mars–with a touch of Amy Winehouse to boot. The quartet’s vibe is accessible, funky, swinging… and always fun!
