Mary Spencer Knapp presents The Nightingale: A Musical Show

Broadway alum, multi-instrumentalist, and indie accordionist-chanteuse Mary Spencer Knapp premieres the ensemble version of her original musical adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Nightingale,” featuring Knapp as narrator and singer, Teagan Taylor on trumpet & vocals, Doug Berns on bass and vocals, Sean Salant on guitar, and Ethan Meyer on percussion. Children of all ages will delight in this musical version of the classic, dynamic tale of a little bird with a unique musical gift, and her relationship to a powerful emperor. This event is presented by Greenlight and PLG Arts, an organization that presents performances, readings, exhibitions, and other programs for children and adults in Prospect Lefferts Gardens.
