Drop in on your way home from work, on your way out, or just to hear some fantastic music! Drummer and bandleader Art Lillard is known for his ability to read a room, responding sensitively to his audience. His swinging trio, with bassist Ralph Hamperian and pianist Janice Friedman, presents tuneful, melodic jazz in a variety of genres, drawing its influence from traditional swing and jazz as well as more contemporary popular music.

Marion Cowings

Jazz singer Marion Cowings’s smooth baritone voice and considerable range has been delighting audiences around the world for decades. Mentored by the legendary Jon Hendricks, Cowings is a master of scat and vocal technique. He has appeared at the Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, Blue Note, Village Vanguard, and as well as many prestigious venues abroad. Currently Cowings performs regularly at Small’s Jazz Club in the West Village.
