For Trees & Birds
For Trees & Birds is a NYC-based band made up of Jasper Dutz (alto sax, bass clarinet), Lee Meadvin (guitar), Chris Gaskell (upright bass), and Connor Parks (drums). They play original improvisational music rooted in the jazz idiom and influenced by alternative rock and the avant-garde. Think Dolphy meets Bjork in a “choir over groove” setting and you’re almost there.
