Erin Kyle Danna (b. 1985) United States
Erin lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Rhode Island School of Design. Her project El Raval explores the ancient Barcelona barrio of the same name, today known as the city’s Chinatown neighborhood. Her work has been exhibited internationally and is held in several private collections.
She received a Patron Award at the Northern National Art Competition in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, juried by Linda Benedict-Jones, Curatorial Chair, Exhibitions & Curator of Photography at the Carnegie Museum of Art. She was recently selected to participate in PHotoEspaña’s Descubrimientos ’15 week in Madrid, Spain and was a finalist for the Julia Margaret Cameron Award for Women Photographers in the People, Culture & Daily Life category. Erin’s work has been published in magazines such as the New York Times Lens Blog, The Providence Journal, The Bay Magazine, and RISD XYZ.
