I paint rocks and rubble I find around Brooklyn and NYC, and any other places I visit. I decide what to paint a rock based on its individual texture and shape. Often I paint rocks to look like products, foods or toys I’ve interacted with in my own life. Then I carry them around with me and photograph my rocks on the street. I love Lefferts and have found many “precious” stones in the neighborhood. I’m originally from South Korea and raised in Minnesota.
