| Friday, April 11, 7-9 pm, the Art Lillard Quartet comes to the Inkwell, 408 Rogers Avenue, between Sterling and Lefferts. Drummer and bandleader Art Lillard is known for his ability to “read” a room and respond to his audience. With bassist Ralph Hamperian, pianist Ted Kooshian, and vocalist Marion Cowings, Lillard presents tuneful, melodic music that draws influences from traditional swing and jazz and more contemporary popular music. |
