Gallery Particulier is thrilled to announce its upcoming exhibit, Let It Fly: A Gallery Particulier group show, opening on May 1st from 6-8PM at 281 Maple St., Brooklyn, NY 11225.
This exhibition, running May 1 – June 4, 2024 marks a new chapter in bringing art directly to people’s homes, enriching their lives with relevant artwork and transforming their spaces into personal galleries.
Founder and director of Gallery Particulier, Arabella von Arx, emphasizes the importance of having art in the home, “Having real artwork in the home is an enriching experience. We work at bringing art to people, rather than expecting people to come to art, as museum & gallery attendance dwindle.
Curated by the talented Robin Bergman, Let It Fly promises to be a compelling exhibit that is highly relevant to local communities. All artists are based in NYC, and of diverse communities. Bergman’s background in art management, including his experience at Chelsea’s Caelum Gallery, uniquely positions him to curate this innovative show. The opening night will feature a special performance by Yes Orchid, combining movement and music. Gallery Particulier holds art events that are inviting and intimate.
Throughout the exhibit, visitors will have the opportunity to apply to host a print from the artists showcased, with winners taking the prints home for 5 months. This initiative aims to make art more accessible and integrated into everyday life.
The exhibit will culminate in a vibrant evening of storytelling on June 4th, curated by So Boom/Dick Burroughs and hosted by Brooklyn’s own Cav Manning. This event promises to be a vibrant experience, with more details to be announced soon.
