My name is Nina Browne and having grown up in Paterson, NJ, Brooklyn has been my home for more than 30 years. Varying professional paths as an urban anthropologist, woodworker, and environmental educator, all unite in my paintings which celebrate and mourn the natural, cultural, and built infrastructures—the traditions, trees, concrete, rivers, and sewers—all around us.
