The Wildebeest Woodwind Quintet will perform Prokofiev’s “Peter and the Wolf” for children of all ages on Saturday, January 12, at 11 am. The free performance will take place at the Crown Heights Public Library, 560 New York Ave, at Maple Street (718) 773-1180. The classic symphonic fairy tale by Sergei Prokofiev is brought to life by Wildebeest, a Brooklyn wind quintet: Michele Gentile, flute; Katie Scheele, oboe; Katie Curran, clarinet; Sara Schoenbeck, bassoo; Nathan Koci, horn; Hollis Hedrick,  narrator.
The Nightingale is a presentation of PLG Arts made possible by the Crown Heights branch of the Brooklyn Public Library.
