The PLG Arts Chamber Music Series is a new monthly classical music series, dedicated to bringing exciting classical music to our neighborhood.

Duo Anova is a cello and guitar duo based in New York City. Susan Mandel (cello) and Kenji Haba (guitar) met in 2012 and bonded over their passion for contemporary music and their animated sense of humor. Their rare instrumentation offers a unique dimension of textures and sounds.

Duo Anova made its Carnegie Hall debut earlier this year and performed at Bohemian National Hall, Composer’s Voice 100th Gala concert, 662 Center concert series, Saint Peter’s Church, and other chamber music series. Duo Anova also collaborates with visual artists and has performed in the installation art of Hisami Taniguchi at Resobox, a contemporary art museum in New York.
